Special Weather Statement issued June 10 at 8:12PM EDT by NWS Northern IndianaAt 812 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hamilton to 7 miles northeast of Ossian to
Van Buren. Movement was east at 45 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Fort Wayne, Defiance, New Haven, Van Wert, Bluffton, Decatur, Bryan,
Archbold, Berne, Hicksville, Ossian, Butler, Paulding, Edgerton,
Montpelier, Antwerp, West Unity, Hamilton, Woodburn, and Stryker.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 469 near mile marker 6, and between mile markers 9 and
28.
