* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

– At 609 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible.
– Some locations that may experience flooding include…
Newark, Heath, Granville, Buckeye Lake, Hebron, Hanover, Marne,
Harbor Hills, Thornport, Granville South, Gratiot, Interstate 70

Warning for the following rivers…

South Fork Licking River near Hebron.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…South Fork Licking River near Hebron.

* WHEN…Until this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 11.5 feet, Backwater flooding begins near the
Greenbriar Village Mobile Home Park, with water approaching the
yards behind homes along Greenbriar Lane East. Water also covers
much of Ridgely Tract Road between Route 79 and the South Fork,
covering yards and surrounding two homes in this area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
morning to a crest of 11.6 feet this afternoon. It will then fall
below flood stage late this afternoon.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet….The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers…

Greenbriar Village Mobile Home Park, with water approaching the
yards behind homes along Greenbriar Lane East. Water also covers
much of Ridgely Tract Road between Route 79 and the South Fork,
covering yards and surrounding two homes in this area.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Raccoon Creek near Granville.

* WHEN…Until this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Water approaches the Denison University
Heat Plant on south Main Street, with water approaching the
Granville Waste Water Treatment Plant. Water also breaches the TJ
Evans bike trail and approaches the Granville Square Apartments.
The ball diamonds at Raccoon Valley Park are flooded.

– At 5:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
this morning to a crest of 15.9 feet this morning. It will then
fall below flood stage late this morning.
– Flood stage is 13.0 feet….The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers…
