* WHERE…A portion of northwest Ohio, including the following
county, Sandusky.

* WHEN…Until 1230 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 930 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Fremont, Bellevue, Clyde, Gibsonburg, Green Springs,
Ballville, Risingsun, Lindsey, Helena, Burgoon, Stony
Prairie, Vickery and Whites Landing.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 9 at 9:17PM EDT until August 9 at 9:30PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OHAt 917 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Oak Harbor to near Fremont to near Clyde, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT…Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include…
Fremont, Port Clinton, Bellevue, Clyde, Oak Harbor, Green Springs,
