at Toledo was 8 inches above low water datum. The water level at
Toledo is expected to drop below the critical mark for safe
navigation of 3 inches overnight. Water levels will begin to
rise above the critical mark for safe navigation Thursday

at Toledo was 11 inches above low water datum. The water level
at Toledo is expected to drop below the critical mark for safe
navigation of 3 inches overnight. Water levels will begin to
rise above the critical mark for safe navigation by Thursday

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…At 2:54 PM EST this afternoon, the water
level at Toledo was 16.2 inches above low water datum. The
critical mark for safe navigation is 3 inches above low water
datum. Water levels in the western basin of Lake Erie will
continue to fall sharply this afternoon and are expected to be
below the critical mark at times this evening through the wee
hours of Thursday morning. Water levels are expected to rebound
to above the critical mark by daybreak Thursday.* WHAT…Abnormally low water levels expected.
