.Rises on area rivers occurred as a result of recent heavy rainfall
from severe thunderstorms. Three of these locations aside from
Cosperville have crested and are receding.

forecast.

forecast.

forecast.

* WHEN…Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 14.0 feet, Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb
County Road 42 about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable
agricultural and low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph
River to the Cedarville Reservoir.

– At 9:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 14.2 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM EDT Saturday was 14.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 11.7 feet
Thursday evening.
