25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 50 knots and waves 3 to 6 feet
expected. For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water
levels expected.
* WHERE…The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to
Vermilion OH.
* WHEN…For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 AM EDT this
morning. For the Gale Warning, from 8 AM Friday to 4 AM EDT
Saturday. For the Low Water Advisory, from 8 AM Friday to 4 AM
EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Strong west to southwest winds will cause
water levels across the western basin to fall 1 to 2 feet below
low water datum. The critical mark for safe navigation is
