* WHERE…The open waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to
Vermilion OH.
* WHEN…Until 4 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Below normal water levels will result in hazardous
navigating conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southwest winds 25 to 30 knots may cause
water levels in the western basin of Lake Erie to drop near or
below the critical mark for safe navigation which is 13 inches
above low water datum. The current water level at Toledo is 33

Special Weather Statement issued June 17 at 11:27PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OHAt 1126 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Chatfield, or 10 miles north of Bucyrus, moving east at 65 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. This storm may exhibit rotation at
times.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Mansfield, Ashland, Tiffin, Norwalk, Bucyrus, Shelby, Willard,
Ontario, Wellington, Crestline, New London, Plymouth, West Salem,
Milan, Wakeman, New Washington, Bloomville, Sycamore, Hayesville, and
